Yes the drahthaar is of interest.

I wonder though if its longer coat would pick up burrs?
I have a lot of prickles and burrs and wouldn't be interested
in a dog required a lot of grooming at all.

Siegfried my GSP just gets taken for a swim when he gets
dirty. That's it.

Also isn't this dog really another version of a GSP, almost the
same thing - weight, versatility, size, temperament - just quite
a different appearance ?

I do like the idea of a smaller dog and one which is part terrier.

Also my dogs go with me everywhere. How am I to fit them in
the car, on the motorbike, in the tractor etc all at the same time!

PS I've just realised, I've got a Winchester background on my
PC of a drahthaar holding a pheasant!
