I have a two year old English Springer Spaniel dog. This is his first proper shooting season.His training has been somewhat broken, as I have been working and at Uni in Scotland, my mother has been looking after him and his disipline has been somewhat laxed at tymes. Have had him on pigeon, grouse and pheasants this year and he has shown good hunting ability and his retrieving is coming along nicely although he does have the tendenncy to run in on the shot, I will have to work on that but otherwise I am pleased all things considered.
