John, I'm so sorry to hear this news. Even though it was best for Siegfried. He clearly had a very good life with you, joining in on just about everything including tractor rides and so on. It's these memories that you will cherish forever, despite the near future being rather blue now that he's gone. Lets be glad that he's now in a place with no pain, running after birds, eating the chocolate that he otherwise shouldn't, and sniffing out bitches in heat in order to make the puppies he never had down here. And rest assured that you'll meet up again in the future, as all good owners and their dogs eventually do in the heavenly hunting grounds. Erik |
