Sorry to read about your faithful friend Siegfried (great name!), I hope he goes with as little suffering as possible.

I bet he's loving the treats he couldnt get enough of before.

We will be buying a GSP in the late spring and the kids are looking terribly forward to having a mutt to play with. I am hoping he's a good hunter with good natural instincts as he will first be a pet and then a hunting companion.
