The area will be a small garden with a slow growing jacarandah already there. Siegfried's kennel name was "Fire flash" or "Flash fire" so I've always wanted a flamboyant aka a flame tree. Both Flamboyants and Jacarandas are frost intolerant. Have had lots of problems with the Jacaranda. Must finally plant some quick growing "fern" trees as protective cover. They may work?
