Quote: Agreed--as we were outside Reno a bit and certainly gained elevation to our area.. found this on the net.. "Altitude. Reno is an ideal tourist spot because of its casinos and proximity to the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. ... It appears that Reno is located on a flat plain, but the city is actually located at a high elevation of nearly 5,000 feet above sea level." IF it wasn't for all the Californians moving there it would be a fairly nice city.. This worked well for us as the elevation in Bozeman is just a bit higher where the dog was trained..so, he had an advantage training here at the higher elevations vs the much lower elevations of Georgia, where the dog is normally kept... |
