I just found out what a Vorsteh is.
Its a German Wire haired Pointer.
Never owned a wire haired but owned 2 shorthairs that I bought of Ron Slater,Slatmart Kennels in Geelong in the early 70's.
I took them both into the Kimberley,great dogs.Tough and fearless.
I believe someone has a monopoly on the wirehairs in Aust and wont sell them unless steralised.
