Lucy is my third field bred English Springer Spaniel in a row and the granddaughter of my first bird dog. The three of them have been great dogs on all accounts including retrieving. I seemed to have had a bit of a hard time last trip centering the bird and she did a wonderful job running down and bringing to hand the cripples. The shotgun is a well used but unabused H&H royal from the 20's, one of the very first self openers.
