I have had German Wirehairs most of the last 20 years of my life..have had springers and labs earlier..but at this stage could not be happier with the little gal I currently have.

She'll retrieve birds out of water, point upland like no tomorrow and track wounded game as well as any I have ever had. Plus is incredible with the family. Watches over my little boy as if she can read his mind when we are camping..

Not begrudging other breeds or other's dogs, but for where and when I hunt she works awesome..
