Mate,

Red belly black snakes (Pseudechis p.) are cannibals and eat Pseudonaja textilis. (common brown/ eastern browns)and others. Of course western browns are another matter!

For a laugh I once cleared out the pub at St Albans on the Hawkesbury with a live 6 foot eastern brown.

RBBS are real pussycats and often strike with mouth closed as a warning. (more bluff than bite)

BTW how's the fallow herd going your parts. (was talking to a dogger at NPWS Glen Innes office last May).
