Nice Setters! Growing up in Central Illinois, we had Labs due to the abundance of waterfowl along the Illinois River. They also served well in the Uplands. As an adult, I've grown to love English Setters and double guns. My last one recently passed. Belle was a black & white Ryman, and Duke was an orange and white Old Hemlock. Loved them both. They were trained to hand, whistle, and voice to stay, come, whoa, turn left, and turn right. I guess you can say they spoke 3 languages! They were "scary" good on pheasants and ruffed grouse. I've taken them both all over the U.S. to hunt upland game of every variety. Your photos sparked some good memories. I'm in the market for another.
