Well after a fruitless morning waiting for the Red stags to roar I took my Pit Bull dog "Scout" who had followed me home from the Pub 4 years ago as a big pup (but got bigger) for a pork hunt with my mates dogs , when I hearded a couple of barks way up in the trees , on heading up there I saw a few Samber deer troting through the tress , I picked a stag & shot him with my 338/06 (185TSX @3120Fps) when I was making my way down to where he ran , he came running past me at 15 ft , I could not see him in the scope , so shot one handed as he past , well as it turned out I had killed the frist one & this was his mate so ended up killing 2 stags !

only got the pic of one I could drag down to the track & we got no pigs , so still need pork !
