I was able to catch up with Jack (Strick) a month or so back when BCF opened their new superstore at Gateway in Palmerston (my home town). The company had flown him in from Queensland for the opening, and his "job" for the day was to wander around in the store amongst the crowd doing a meet and greet.
He was kept pretty busy autographing shirts and hats, mostly for starry-eyed teenage girls (

) and I hardly got a word in edgeways!
Bought a few fishing lures and managed to win a $100 voucher for my trouble.
Was it rigged??

I'll leave it up to Daryl to explain the crawfish/crayfish thing, but Fran's catch in the video is indeed a mantis shrimp as stated above. They are nice eating!
