Was remnants of a Liberator there ,evidently they cleaned up all the other War relics and dumped them in the ocean ,met the only,cant remember exactly only Australian Naval Commodore [?] there ,told me how he'd met Hailie Salasi and was give a Statue as a gift ,but by the Rules wasnt allowed to accept it ,sure it was a marble Lion ,Salassi being the ''Lion of Judah'' .
That's interesting. Pity he couldn't accept it, even if donating it to a museum here.
Our old member EricD stopped in there decades ago, sailing a sail boat from Australia to Africa. Met one of the daughters of one of the original owners of the islands, Clunies-Ross family. She was later front page news I believe in Darwin, some deviancy ,..
