With Tracy driving us home from Trail BC, after my knee replacement, she got 25.4mpg driving at 100K. We were most fortunate that the Dodge had a 110 plug-in, so ice water was pumped in a special gizmo around my knee continuously for the 122 hour trip. We had to replace the ice in the bucket only 3 times. It was still an arduous trip. My average around here with the Dodge Hemi was 23.5, best of 24.3mpg. The Ford also has a 110 outlet along with a bunch of 12 volt outlets. Nice to have 110 for small refrigerators, iec-packs, etc. I'm really liking 'modern' camping. |
