Just a thought- clicking on the video might bring up access to the rest of the folder via arrows on each side - does for me. halibut just pull hard - straight down - tough to being up to the surface, as they seem like a large flat board. Too, they must generally be killed before bringing them into the boat as they are very strong and will/can wreck a boat from the inside. Many halibut fishermen use a .410 or 20 bore shotgun, shooting them on the surface, then gaffing and hauling them up into the boat. I should note here, that I was gasping for breath and was very shaky on my pins. I could barely stand, needing support & played out as I was. |
