8x57 - not a thing wrong, but if you had some proper broadheads made for it rater than those fish points, ought to work just fine for moose. I'll call one into about 10' for you. the line would not have to be used and I'd think with a 4" wide X 6" broadhead, the trail would be short. Now that would be a blast!
