No idea of weight, I have lengths marked on my flyrod and use that (or a tape-measure if in my boat) to get a quick length before release. Saltwater barra generally get released into my ice-box!





Thanks. I was wondering if you catch and release, but thought you would call me silly, they go in the ice-box!

Re flavour, I find ANY wild caught barra is preferrable to the fish farm barra we have in Southern supermarkets, which are bland in comparison.
