Amazingly when it actually rains here, and after a long drought it usually rains hard and we have a big flood instead, in the debris after the flood we usually find a trout or three. Washed out of some seeded dam or creek upriver.

At the moment we would be lucky to have yabbies washed down river though when it rains again.

Love the photos. Hope the fish is delicious and fish oil digested is good for joints too. (OK I made that up but it is probably true).
