That is one lucky rifle to belong to you!
I own a 450/400 3.25" cordite -400 grain bullet, 50 grains cordite, hammerless, gifted to me by my father.
Its a plainjane boxlock, missing a rear sight.I will be starting basic restoration in a month and would appreciate your advice on
a.leaf dimensions
b. bluing-hot or cold
c.wood is pretty much pristine, so am only going to try and refinish it with an oil finish.
