I looked to see if it had detachable sidelocks. Because it looks like and has the same engraving patterns as my Azhur shotgun. But of course that is a copy of an H & H design as well.

It's a classic design all over. Quite British and IMO not very German-like look.

I imagine a 10.75x52R would be a quite mild medium game cartridge. 340 grs at a moderate velocity. Adequate for moose and bear in the Finnish forests.




The action is similar to my Springer which was a 10.75 when originally made.
It's a "sideplate boxlock" which is just as it sounds. A nice stylistic way of making a boxlock look like a sidelock and offer a nice palate for more engraving.
