My vision corrected back when I first started wearing glasses as I couldn't see a gopher at 40yards, was correctable to 20/20. The last 3 times I've been tested for new prescriptions, my distance vision has been correctable to 20/15. This means I can see at 20 yards, what the "average" needs to be within 15 yards to see. I wear bifocals to be able to read.
This 20/15 vision only makes it easier for me to see things at distance. It is no help at all with open sights. They are getting fuzzier & fuzzier.
Apparently I do not need glasses to drive, however I like seeing "everything" in sharp relief, thus I always wear them when driving or at any time, actually.
