I've never seen a reference to a full nitro 577/500 Mag. Possibly there were NfB proofs? Mine are BP proofed. The Magnum is a 3 1/8" case.

Hey Mike, It pays to read what I write before I post....:):):) Yes it should say Nitro For Black....as in "full 3" case with nitro for black loading" as opposed to the 2 3/4" case
Didn't know the Mag was a 3 1/8th case. Imagine that with a for real full cordite load, yikes :):)

It was years ago, but I do remember the "Magnum" and a adjustable mold that took different nose and base plugs. Again from a un-informed memory, but i think it was a light handy rifle.
