That engraver had a lot of energy to expend on such a cheap double rifle. He needs to put that engraving skill, time, and energy to good use, earning money, so that he can buy a better double rifle to "flower up" if he wants to do so, making for a much more valuable end result, it seems to me. On the other hand, maybe he just had so much free time on his hands, that he got bored, and did his thing on the Baikal. If that is the case, I would like to see him get bored more often, and "flower up" more worthy doubles. Naturally, that sort of German style engraving isn't favored by everyone, but with skill demonstrated here, I am sure that he can also demonstrate other styles too.
