Thanks for your comment, Buchseman. I don't know how it shoots. The bores are excellent and the rifle does not appear to have been used much. Like I said, it does have set triggers, so I expect it would be easy to shoot a good group, but probably not with my eyes. It has a conical and also a round ball mold and seperate powder measures for each. I didn't include a picture of the round ball mold. It is contained beneath the two powder measures. This rifle was one of 3 made for William Oliver, a very wealty landowner in Australia, if I remember right. I'll need to look at the factory records again. Would be interesting to see if both the loadings, round ball and conical, will regulate in the double rifle. |
