Good one, TH44 - I use a PAST magnum pad for all bench shooting with my larger than .30 cal. CF rifles.

While that little .577 is shooting about the same powder charge, it's 610gr. bullets outweigh my 'Gentle Lady's' 480gr. balls. Have fun!

I'd be wearing a shoulder pad as well.
