I completely understand your concern. I am also often surprised, shocked even by a lot of things. I personally like being surprised, it is always a new experience, and I like new experiences. I also like dark chocolate, single malt, public drunkenness, and Porsche cars. Let me tell you, being surprised is a natural reaction. It is the same feeling you get when that weird uncle we all have hugs you from behind, or as a serial philanderer you come to realize you are divorcing in a No-fault state.

So, what we learned here is there are good and bad surprises. Also there are good and bad Origami pots, but that is another subject.

Basically, what I was telling you is that it was a headshot. I didn't do it, and would never try something like that. I use Hornet for Varmmint on short ranges. I said it can and was done by a professional who ran out of bullets and had to shoot a wounded animal. European game is much smaller,and less dangerous than other Continents, so the calibers are smaller and less lethal. Double rifles are a passion. Calibers are just numbers.
