Assuming it works like other R93's, you can't cycle the action without pushing up the safety a little - though not as far as you'd have to actually fire the gun. It would be a little clumsy to try and slightly push both forward a little at the same time, and I'm thinking that if one was on and the other off, you wouldn't be able to cycle the bolt, which could cause confusion when something dangerous is coming after you.

And mind you, I don't like this lion bolt knob, just the idea of the bolt knob as a great cat's head. I guess the grip cap is OK, so that's something.
