This is a wild boar, shot with my .450 BPE Francotte in Sotogrande, Cadiz, South of Spain. Did not travel very far. It was shot in a spanish "monterķa",a type of driven hunt with lots of dogs. I have managed to make the rifle shoot with 405 grains, gas-checked, hard lead, Cast Performance Bullets, at 2000 fps. Well, I think it should be posible hunt something bigger with it...
The other hunters of my party said they could distinguish clearly my shots from the other guns..
