Francotte Eagle Grade Double Rifle in 6.5x54 MS

This isn't my gun it's listed at Hollowell. I just thought it was a nice looking rifle in a great old caliber, even if it is a rimless.

21" SxS chopper-lump barrels with quarter rib, 1 standing & 1 folding express sight, 14"pull from front trigger to checkered horn buttplate. Figured walnut stock with pistol grip, splinter forend with Anson pushbutton release. Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5x scope on quick-detachable claw mounts. Automatic ejectors, bushed firing pins, Greener crossbolt & sideclips. Fine scroll & game scene engraving on sideplated action and with gold eagle on underside. Weight without scope: 5lbs, 4oz. Built in 1955 for Abercrombie & Fitch. 99%blue, 99% casecolors. Huey oak & leather case with overcase. $19,950.

I was also looking at that rifle. Must be a sweet shooter at just over 5lbs.
