Ouch!!! That one was a "center of mass" hit. Ray, I did find that shooting the Searcy which is not scoped did make me go back and learn to shoot with open sights ... and I am quite pleased with the result. But I've got to tell you I cannot see much detail on a target at 100 yards if the front sight is in focus. At that range and beyond I do prefer a scope. My distance vision is actually pretty good with glasses ... I simply cannot accomodate for distance differences they way I once did. Should that disqualify me from going into the field? |
