From the information provided and the fact you have a couple of guns already so will understand a few things, I would say yes, it is worth pursuing.

I agree with your price assesment of it.

Even though the main "metalwork" is good, it still has broken parts and still needs fixing - and if done well this will not be cheap and will still not make it an original collector piece, just a nice shooter.
