New American Double RIfle Mfg?

During downtime in court (need to look busy sitting in back waiting for a case to be called) it is permissible to check a handheld or laptop since much of our pleadings are now 'paperless.' Truth be told, many lawyers surf the Net to stay awake during the more boring stuff, and I do so by going through the online double gun sites, etc.

Surfing through CSMC's list today, I came across this:

WINCHESTER – Model 21 Deluxe Grand American Double Rifle, .405 Win., 24” barrels, AAA fancy American black walnut capped pistol grip stock, “B’ carve checkering pattern, leather covered pad, double triggers, automatic ejectors, leaf sights, special heavy duty bolstered receiver with hidden 3rd fastener, stunning gold inlays featuring the African dangerous five, exquisite double rifle which took several years to make, absolute highest level workmanship imaginable, 100% new gun ready for immediate delivery.

Seems they are now building SXS DRs on the Model 21 chassis in some of the lower pressure chamberings (they also had one in 45-70.) The wood and the engraving was not to my taste, but at least there is another player in the American Doubles market. Of course, this may have been discussed here before and, as I said, not to my taste and not what I would call reasonably priced.

Anyone see one of these in 'the flesh?' Any comments on them generally. If you go to the "Used Gun" section, and when the list comes up sort high to low price, they come in at the mid to high 40s. Take a look and make a comment, if you please. Dave
