I looked long an hard for a really good 10ga, one that was not abused and would be heavy enough. This one was in really good shape, not the highest quality gun, but good enough. I'm probably going to have it re-heat treated using an Aus-treatment to strengthen it more (although it is already a brick sh--house). If you can afford it, the Greener Empire would work nicely. Possibly the Huglu 202B as well. They are long bars, quite strong, made of C1040 heat treated to 47B ( I talked to the engineers at Huglu and had the frame tested).
