No, I (and probabaly we) are NOT put off by U.S. double rifle writers or the like.

It's just a bloke tested and tested and wrote a book that was safe and works and then others go over old ground and try eveything under the sun and rehash it as though they have come up with it, in the process promulgating some shit and in some cases all this experimenting caused a few guns to blow up.

It's not about Australia versus the US, that's petty shit, it's about what was tried and used for years here.

Spot on - so much so that GW called me Friday regarding lending him a DR (375 Fl Mag) so he could go through the load data and test it in a actual DR prior to including the data in the 3rd edition.

I do NOT lend my rifles as a general rule but GW is one person I have no problem with.

No QUICKLOAD Data here, that's for sure !!!
