I'm also right-handed with a right master eye. My way of shooting is with the stock firmly pulled into my shoulder pocket with my right elbow down. I find that with the elbow down, it tends to lock the butt into the shoulder pocket without slippage. Of course, the left leg is also forward and the right is almost straight. Both of my legs are really flexed and I am slightly on the balls of my feet. If you get a chance to watch military or police tactical shooters go about their training, you'll notice that the shooting hand side elbow is also down. I'm also leaning into the gun and target so my center is slightly forward. This really helps when I have to do qualifications shotguns also. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
