reflex: How do you distinguish between the 'poser' who fires one shot and watches the animal run away, to be found dead some distance away and some time later for a "one shot kill"; and the experienced DR hunter who virtually double-taps for openers, then fires 2 more if the animal is still on its feet 3 seconds later. I mostly use a .400 3-inch double ejector and would only resist firing a quick second shot if the first one caught the spine and dropped the animal on the spot.
