I never even though about shooting an open sighted .22 to practice with. Great suggestion. I will add that to my shooting regiment along with the snap caps in the .470 and follow up with some live rounds and see how it goes. Do they make any side by side .22's that anybody knows of? Would make for a pretty fun little rifle.
