Since you already have a medium bore side by side DR with double triggers being built and have an African trip planned, I think mating it with a single trigger O/U large bore is a particularly poor idea. If you don't want to spend a lot for the large bore, that's fine, but you'd be far better off to get another double trigger side by side. A solid quality new rifle like the Heym PH Model in .470 is available here in the US for $16,000. I know that the Heym is somewhat more expensive in Europe, but the difference shouldn't be that big of a deal if you can afford to have a new Royal built. |
