I agree with 500grains and with MAC on the practicality of hunting such a beast of a gun like a 600NE.Would I like to own one?? absolutely!! Of course!!

Personally a 500 NE is all I wish to carry,handle, and shoot it rapidly like it was designed to shoot. Call me a wuss but I would have to have a gunbearer to actually hunt a 600 or bigger cause I would have the rifle weight substantially higher than 13-15 pound to shoot it and someone else to carry it.

If someone wants to carry and hunt a 577, 600, or 700, go for it!!
You have my total admiration--you are much more man than me!!
And again YES I would buy one if I could just to have one.

But if I am out there hoofing it, actually following and tracking a jumbo I think a 500NE would be the max rifle I could actually hunt--
