Had one--in .470 Nitro--shot great--very well regulated---They are a bit on the light side and therefore recoil will be more noticable but not unbearable...

Good Luck--You really can't go wrong for a entry grade rifle--heck, the "NEW" Rigby company uses Merkels actions for their $25,000 plus doubles...which I am sure upsets a lot of the purists.. but hey, it is what it is..
