Wow!!

Imagine a 577 lite in a 10.5 pnd Double with 700 gr GS Custom solids @1900 fps(5600 ftpnds energy) and 650 gr Woodleigh softs-- That should handle most anything below Ele with great penetration and stop Ele in a pinch(700 gr-SD-.300)although no doubt more velocity would be better for Ele penetration(ie recall previous 500 gr 458 WM Ele failures @ <2000fps).The FN feature may help penetration as well.

I would probably choose a different Double if exclusively Ele hunting-probably a 500 NE with FN banded bullets for the additionsl penetration over a 577 lite.For Buff and the rest the 577lite should be fine!!
