Don't touch the adjusting wedge. The only thing that does is adjust crossing and separation. Height is a sight adjustment issue. I've fired just about every factory produced round ( I don't reload) threw my 9.3 and the gun digests them well with no real problems. It likes some better than others (it loves Nosler's) but all shoot well.
I had a small crossing problem 1/4 turn on the wedge and done. The height adjust with your sights.
