I'm toying with the idea of this Geyger O/U from Champlins. http://www.champlinarms.com/Default.aspx...3&GunID=860 He has it listed as an 8X57IR, however; it was made in 1938. Well after the introduction of the 8X57IS. Can it be that even in 1938 the .318 rimmed was still being produced? Or, do you think that the rifle really is an 8x57IRS. B. |
