Beleg, Give us some more information. What rifle/cartridge are you using??? If you have barrels cross firing it is hardley likely to be the problem of your benchrest. There are a number of causes here. My advice is to throw your shooting sticks away and check your regulation off a proper benchrest with the rifle resting naturally between your hands, If recoil is an issue for you then try the new " lead sledge" ( I think that is the right name), and this will help you enormously. You connot, and will not sucessfully test the regualtion of your double using shooting sticks. They are mostly used by African PHs to offer clients a more steady rest when shooting at game. Personally , when hunting, or at any other time, I dont use them preferring to hold the rifle naturally myself. Many experienced hunters, however do think they are a very good idea. Dont use them to " REGULATE" your double though Give us some more detail and we will see if we can find a sloution for your double "crossing". Regards Eric |
