The rifle is extremely clean. The is abosolutely no pitting anywhere on the rifle. The bores are close to prestine! The more I look at her, the more impressed I am with beautiful condition of this rifle.
It is a great shooter! The recoil of the 11 lbs is not that much more than my Hollis 450/400. Comparing my Hollis and this rifle, I believe that the barreled action is a Leonard action.
