My father has a double barrel rifle and I want to know the exact model and year of manufacture of it. Its by Lyon & Lyon.
The words written on the barrel are 'Lyon & Lyon London & Calcutta Improved Cylinder A?glia(not clear)'
It has 2 birds made on the on the side of the butt, which is checkered.
The underside of the barrel has the number 86015, along with letter BV, BP and NP(all three have a small crown over them).

I will try and take photos of it and post 'em.
If someone knows anything about this rifle, or any place where I might find info, then please do let me know.
