That was the exact info I wanted. I have one that has a bore even worse than the original you show me. My option was rebarreling or reboring. I was thinking reboring to something like a .405 Win or 450/400, but, It is quite light and then I would be looking at a full rebuild. Then I would have to find another M-E Carbine.
I think I will look for the .303 barrel. Do you know a source?

OH ! , just to keep in the theme of (sorry to digress), do you know a source for the more sporter blade sights that fit the SMLE dovetail?
