The lead sled will not allow a Double to recoil properly so you will not know where it is shooting. A Double must be hand supported with no extra weight or apparatus effecting it's recoil.

Also there have been many reports of a lead sled causing broken stocks, particularly through the wrist and behind the trigger guard as the rifle's recoil is not allowed to be absorbed by any type of give.
