My solution to the heavy recoil problem is a crude device I had built years ago. A much more elegant solution is the Caldwell Lead Sled (sold by Midway at http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=152664 ). Essentially, it increases the weight of any rifle until the recoil is manageable and you can sight in to your heart's content without risking developing a flinch or suffering other effects from repeated exposure to heavy recoil.
